Guzmania

$0.00

Guzmania, a vibrant member of the bromeliad family, is a tropical plant that adds a splash of color and a dash of flair to any space. These beauties are known for their striking tubular flowers, which can range in shades from fiery red to sunshine yellow and even soft pink.

Guzmania loves bright, indirect light. If growing indoors aim for a bright spot near a window!

These tropical wonders prefer a well-draining potting mix, particularly one made for orchids or a commercial bromeliad mix. Good drainage is essential to keep their roots happy and healthy. Guzmania doesn’t need too much food! A diluted liquid fertiliser every couple of months during the growing season is plenty.

Once your Guzmania blooms, the magic continues! After flowering, they produce offsets, or "pups." These can be carefully separated and replanted to grow new Guzmanias.

With a little TLC, your Guzmania will not just survive, but thrive, bringing joy and color to your green sanctuary!

Available in 200mm pots from $45
